Mr. Hertz serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager for Newcastle Investment and has been involved in Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions, Development and Portfolio Management for over 20 years. He has a record of success in achieving ROI and NOI goals through Asset Development and Redevelopment. Mr. Hertz reorganized Newcastle in 2014 into a broad investment platform that can adapt quickly to market conditions. Through this reorganization, Mr. Hertz formed a family office to manage a broad spectrum of needs to manage a large estate including: setting up a non-profit supporting organization for charitable works; restructured the non-real estate portfolio to expand into other alternative investments as well as managing the securities portfolio to off-set the risk and illiquidity inherent in commercial real estate assets.
